PGN-Empowered MSMEs Reach PAS Sky Shop Collaboration between Pertamina and Pelita Air, Record 59 Percent Contribution to Sales

JAKARTA - The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) built by PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN), Subholding Gas Pertamina, Adabina Scarves which are included in the Pertamina Building Partner, recorded a contribution of around 59 percent of the total sales of micro small and medium business products (MSMEs) in PAS Sky Shop on one of Pelita Air's flight routes.

Adabina Scarves achieved such a contribution in just three months since marketing its products at PAS Sky Shop. This achievement is one of the indicators of the success of expanding market access for MSMEs through collaboration with the Pertamina Group.

Adabina Scarves, which is an exclusive travel mukena and hijab manufacturer, is one of four MSMEs that passed the curation process from a total of 20 MSMEs Mitra Binaan Pertamina Group to market their products through PAS Sky Shop. Meanwhile, PAS Sky Shop is a platform for selling local products on board Pelita Air flights, the result of a collaboration between Pertamina Air Services (PAS) and Pertamina Group MSMEs.

PAS Sky Shop after being introduced for several months, was finally officially launched on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang City, Banten Province.

As part of the launch series of PAS Sky Shop, Pelita Air President Director, Faik Fahmi, together with PT Pertamina (Persero) Corporate Secretary, Arya Dwi Paramita, and Pertamina Vice President of CSR & SMEPP Management, Rudi Ariffianto, handed over souvenir packages containing products from UMKM Mitra Binaan Pertamina Group to passengers of flight IP108 Jakarta (CGK)-Denpasar (DPS) route, Thursday, July 23.

Pertamina's Corporate Secretary, Arya Dwi Paramita, said this collaboration is a tangible form of Pertamina's support for the empowerment of MSMEs so that they can penetrate a wider market.

"Today, thank God, we are together with the President Director of Pelita Air launching the PAS Sky Shop collaboration program. This program provides access for Pertamina's incubated MSMEs that have passed the curation process to market their products on Pelita Air aircraft," he said.

PGN Corporate Secretary, Fajriyah Usman, stated that the success of Adabina Scarves shows that local UMKM products have high competitiveness when they gain access to the right market.

"The entry of Adabina Scarves into PAS Sky Shop is a tangible manifestation of the synergy of the Pertamina Group in opening new business opportunities for the trained MSMEs while introducing quality local products to a wider community. The sales contribution of around 59% in the first three months is proof that when quality products are met with the right market, MSMEs are able to grow faster and compete in a wider marketing channel," he said.

Fajriyah added that expanding market access is one of the important factors in encouraging MSMEs to grow sustainably. Through collaboration in the Pertamina Group environment, PGN not only supports the improvement of product quality, but also provides access to new consumer segments.

"We hope that collaborations such as PAS Sky Shop can continue to be expanded so that more and more MSMEs can have the opportunity to develop their businesses, expand their marketing reach, and increase the economic value of their products," he said.

Meanwhile, the owner of Adabina Scarves, Henni Danasuoro, admitted that he was proud that his product could be part of PAS Sky Shop and received a positive response from the public, especially Pelita Air flight users.

"We are very grateful for the opportunity provided through the PGN and Pertamina Group coaching program. The presence of Adabina Scarves products at PAS Sky Shop opens a new market that we have never reached before. The achievements in the first three months are motivation for us to continue to maintain product quality and bring innovation so that more people are proud to use local Indonesian products," he said.

The handover of souvenirs is a symbol of the start of marketing local UMKM products through PAS Sky Shop as well as the commitment of the Pertamina Group in expanding market access for MSMEs through the business ecosystem owned.
