Jamwas: Febrie Adriansyah Still Receives Salary
JAKARTA - The Deputy Attorney General for Supervision of the Attorney General's Office, Rudi Margono, said Febrie Adriansyah still received a salary even though he had resigned from the position of Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus).
Rudi emphasized that Febrie still had the status of a prosecutor because the case of alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU) that had entangled him did not have a permanent legal force.
"Yes (receiving salary, ed.), there has been no decision, right?" he said, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 24.
He also said that the handling of Febrie's code of ethics violations would be carried out after the criminal process was completed.
This Friday, Febrie is scheduled to undergo an examination as a witness in the alleged TPPU case.
This summons for an examination is the second time after the person concerned did not meet the call on Wednesday (22/7) for health reasons.
Previously, the team of investigators at the Attorney General's Office, which is called Team 9, issued a new investigation letter (sprindik) for the alleged TPPU case. The new sprindic has the number Print-03/F.2/Fd.2/07/2026 which was issued on July 20, 2026.
Head of the Legal Information Center of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, said the new sprindik was issued after the Attorney General's Office received the case file and evidence of 74 kilograms of gold and foreign exchange worth hundreds of billions from the National Police.
The Attorney General's Office has also issued three sprindik after receiving a transfer of cases from the National Police as a form of synergy in law enforcement. First, sprindik number 43 for the alleged corruption and TPPU cases of PT KNI.
Second, sprindik number 44 for the alleged case of corruption in coal management at the power plant which is suspected to have triggered the blackout.
Finally, the sprindik number 45 is related to the case of alleged corruption and TPPU in handling the PT Asabri case.
