Collaborate, Samsung will install the Strava application to all of its latest Galaxy Watch

JAKARTA - Samsung announced its latest collaboration with Strava. The partnership was revealed at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event held on Wednesday, July 22.

With this latest collaboration, Strava will be pre-installed on all upcoming Galaxy Watch devices. This integration will start on the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 globally.

In addition, all users of the two devices will receive a free Strava subscription for 60 days. This will help users take advantage of all of Strava's premium features from the first time their device is used.

"The Galaxy Watch is becoming the top choice for the Starava user community. Therefore, we want Strava to be present from the moment users start their active journey so that every activity can be recorded easily," said Strava Chief Executive Officer, Michael Martin, in a statement.

By bringing the sports app to Samsung's wearable devices, Martin believes that users can experience the best experience on their devices. For Martin, this collaboration can initiate other joint innovations for Strava and Samsung users.

Even though Samsung decided to collaborate with Strava, the company still prioritizes the integration of Samsung Health on its devices. They will also provide built-in support for the Strava Routes feature.

Both will be available for Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 users around the world in the coming months. Samsung did not reveal the exact time, but they said that the support would be launched gradually.
