ASUS ExpertBook P5 G2 Officially Arrives in Indonesia, Here are the Specifications

JAKARTA - ASUS has reintroduced its latest product line in Indonesia. On Thursday, July 23, the company officially launched the ExpertBook P5 G2.

This mid-range business laptop comes with high-end performance. This device, specifically designed for professionals such as executives, small and medium-sized businesses (SMB), and workers who are always on the go.

"This laptop combines high performance, military-grade security, and most interestingly, modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) that is ready to become a digital assistant," said Head of Corporate Communications ASUS Indonesia Muhammad Firman.

The ExpertBook P5 G2 comes with three choices of the latest generation AMD Ryzen AI, including Ryzen AI 5 330, Ryzen AI 7 445, and Ryzen AI 9 HX 470. Interestingly, this latest laptop offers a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with a capacity of 50 to 55 Tera Operations Per Second (TOPS).

Thanks to its high core performance metrics, the ASUS ExpertBook P5 G2 supports local or offline AI workloads quickly and efficiently. Users can take advantage of real-time noise-cancelling capabilities, blur on the background of video conferences, to acceleration of AI-based productivity and creativity applications.

In addition, this latest laptop uses the RDNA 3.5 architecture with the choice of Radeon 820M, 840M, and 890M GPUs. Thanks to this support, this device supports high-level multimedia, presentation, and online meeting needs without obstacles such as lag.

The ExpertBook P5 G2 is equipped with a 70Wh battery that is claimed to last up to 22.5 hours in normal use. Furthermore, there are two SO-DIMM slots for DDR5 RAM that can be upgraded to 64GB.

For storage, ASUS provides a dual M.2 SSD configuration consisting of 2280 slots up to 2TB and 2230 slots up to 1TB. ASUS also offers other support such as a 5MP IR camera on the CGA variant and FHD IR on the CKA variant. Both are equipped with automatic AI Camera features.

In terms of security, the ExpertBook P5 G2 is equipped with ASUS ExpertGuardian, the Windws Secured-core PC security system, and a BIOS designed in accordance with NIST SP 800-155 security standards. ASUS also promises five years of firmware update support.

This device already has the US military standard MIL-STD-810H. The certification shows that the ExpertBook P5 G2 is resistant to shocks and impacts when dropped at a certain height. The device's keyboard is also resistant to water spills so users don't have to worry when their drinks fall on the work desk.
