Hani EXID's Response to Relationship with Fiancé After Patient Scandal

Hani EXID made a public appearance at the press conference for her latest drama, Love on the Menu. On that occasion, she also got a question about her relationship with her fiance, psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong.

In 2024, Yang Jae Woong became controversial after the death of a patient at his clinic. This news circulated amid Yang Jae Woong and Hani's wedding plans, which were originally scheduled for that year.

However, they postponed the wedding without explaining the reason. The press conference for the drama was also her first appearance in public since the incident.

When asked about the scandal of her fiance, Hani EXID chose not to explain it completely and she felt uncomfortable talking about her personal life.

"To be honest, I feel hesitant to discuss my personal life here. Many people put their hard work and hearts into this project," said EXID's Hani, quoted by The Herald Business.

"My biggest hope is not to make any losses against his hard work," he said.

He also added, "I believe this is the pressure I have to face."

The answer made the public suspect that Hani was still engaged to Yang Jae Woong. Currently, psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong closed his clinic and has not made any public statements regarding the controversy.

On the other hand, the drama "Love on the Menu" is played by EXID's Hani and Ha Seok Jin, which tells the story of the meeting between two people who go through a breakup with different situations.
