JAKARTA - Vice President (Wapres) Gibran Rakabuming said the inauguration of Sudaryono as Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) will support the realization of improvements in the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) governance, including a focus on the leading, lagging and outermost regions (3T).

"Congratulations to Mr. Sudaryono who has been appointed as the Head of BGN. I believe that with Mr. Sudaryono's experience as a Wamentan who oversees food security, and supported by the strong commitment of the BGN staff, the MBG program can run with better governance, transparent, and targeted," said Vice President Gibran Rakabuming in a statement reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 22.

The Vice President reminded that every rupiah spent to carry out the MBG Program must be accountable and provide benefits for improving the nutrition of Indonesian children.

Not only that, Gibran also expressed full support for the BGN team to provide a targeted focus on the provision of MBG.
