Heni Sagara Confident Oky Pratama Will Soon Be a Suspect, Legal Representative: Never Investigated

JAKARTA - The tension between Heni Sagara and dr. Oky Pratama seems to be escalating. Heni Sagara bluntly expressed his belief that the police would soon name a suspect in the alleged defamation case. Not to mention, he said the moment was just waiting for a few hours.

Heni feels that the facts revealed at the green table are more than enough to drag the opposing party to a more serious legal status.

"That's why it took a long time to determine the suspect. It was just clear in (the trial). I (believe) the number of hours for determining the suspect is very clear," said Heni Sagara at the National Police Headquarters, Tuesday, July 21.

Not only talking about the status of the suspect, Heni also urged investigators to further investigate the testimony of witnesses at the trial. The focus is on two things, namely the flow of funds of Rp. 20 million and the alleged manipulation of content on a beauty product website.

"The determination of the suspect, then continued the examination for the person who transferred Rp. 20 million which became a fact of the trial. Then the investigation of the website which seemed to be filled with products that were not our products. Everything must be dismantled," he said.

Knowing the "confident" statement from Heni Sagara, the lawyer for dr. Oky Pratama, Ahmad Ramzy, immediately got a spicy response. He strongly denied the narrative that his client would soon be a suspect.

According to Ramzy, Heni's claim is inversely proportional to the reality on the ground. He emphasized that until now, dr. Oky Pratama has never even been called in for questioning by investigators.

"There is no examination of Doctor Oky. The mediator is the police, don't just hear one-sided information," said Ramzy in a firm tone.

Ramzy also challenged Heni to prove his words through the case file. He said his client's name was not in the examination document or the search list.

"Please open the case file. Has Dr. Oky been examined? Is there a search warrant? This is being dragged as if it had been examined and searched, even though it has never been at all," he continued.

Regarding Heni's boast about the determination of the suspect in a matter of hours, Ramzy actually threw a provocative challenge back.

"The discussion was in a matter of hours so the suspect. I want to bet, at what time was he a suspect? Who can determine someone to be a suspect if he is only interrogated?" concluded Ramzy.
