Prabowo Signs Presidential Decree, Kuntadi Officially Becomes Jampidsus
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto has signed a presidential decree appointing five high-ranking officials in the Attorney General's Office. Kuntadi was appointed as the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes or Jampidsus.
The Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said the decision was contained in Presidential Decree Number 87/TPA Year 2026 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment from and in the Deputy High-ranking Positions in the Attorney General's Office.
"The President has signed the Presidential Decree in accordance with the results of the final assessment team and refers to the Attorney General's proposal letter," said Prasetyo at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 22.
In addition to Kuntadi, the Presidential Decree also appointed Asep Nana Mulyana as Deputy Attorney General.
Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak was appointed as Deputy Attorney General for General Criminal Cases. Harli Siregar became the Head of the Attorney General's Education and Training Agency.
Meanwhile, Patris Yusrian Jaya was appointed as Head of the Attorney General's Office Asset Recovery Agency.
Prasetyo said the officials would not be inaugurated by the President. They began carrying out their duties after the administrative process was completed and the Presidential Decree was submitted to the Attorney General's Office.
"There is no inauguration for Jampidsus. The presidential decree is already there," he said.
The Ministry of State Secretariat will follow up on the decision administratively and send the petition to the Attorney General's Office.
