LRT Jabodebek Temporarily Experience Disruption at Cawang Station, Normal Journey Back

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) apologized for the operational disruption that occurred on one of the Jabodebek LRT lines on Wednesday, July 22 at 07.43 WIB.

The disruption caused a delay of about 10 minutes before operations resumed according to schedule.

Manager of Public Relations of the Jabodebek LRT, Radhitya Mardika, said the disruption occurred on one of the facilities which is currently undergoing inspection at Cawang Station.

Radhitya said that in order to maintain the safety of the journey, users who are in the series are asked to get off at Cawang Station and continue their journey using the next train.

"In order to maintain the safety of the journey, officers direct users to switch to the next series at Cawang Station. All officers in the field have also been deployed to assist users during the transfer process," said Radhitya in an official statement, Wednesday, July 22.

Radhitya emphasized that the safety and security of users remained the top priority in all operational conditions of the Jabodebek LRT.

Therefore, the transfer of passengers is carried out as part of the procedure for handling disruptions.

Furthermore, Radhitya added, although it caused a delay of about 10 minutes, all LRT Jabodebek journeys are now back in operation according to schedule.

"KAI apologizes for the inconvenience experienced due to this disruption. Users are urged to follow the instructions of officers in the field and obtain the latest information through the official LRT Jabodebek channel," he concluded.
