PAM Jaya Prepares Free Water Tanks and Compensates During Maintenance of City Forest IPA
PAM Jaya has activated free water tank cars to provide compensation for reduced bills for affected customers during the maintenance of the City Forest Water Treatment Facility (IPA) carried out by PT Jakarta Utilitas Propertindo (JUP).
This step is taken to maintain the supply of clean water for customers who experience distribution disruptions during the maintenance process of water treatment facilities.
PAM Jaya Operations Director Syahrul Hasan said that the maintenance of the City Forest IPA was part of efforts to maintain the reliability of the piped drinking water supply system.
"The maintenance of the City's Forest Water Treatment is an important step to maintain the reliability of piped drinking water services in the long term," said Syahrul in his statement, Tuesday, July 21.
During the work, PAM Jaya deployed water tankers that can be used free of charge by the community in the affected area until the water distribution returns to normal.
In addition, the company also placed water tanks with a capacity of 5,000 liters and 1,000 liters at a number of points to serve as temporary shelters for residents who need clean water supplies.
PAM Jaya also prepared compensation for customers who received the Healthy Water Card who were affected by the service disruption. The form of compensation is in the form of a reduction in water bills in the current month with a maximum value of Rp50,000.
"During this process, we ensure that customers continue to receive the best service through the provision of free tank cars, as well as compensation for affected customers. We hope that these measures can help meet customer needs while improving the quality of PAM Jaya's services," said Syahrul.
PAM Jaya also apologized for the service disruption that occurred during the IPA City Forest maintenance process. The company stated that it would optimize the work so that the distribution of piped water could return to normal as soon as possible and asked customers who needed assistance or information to contact the PAM Jaya Call Center.
