"Avengers: Doomsday" Film Trailer Presents Thor-Captain America Reunion

JAKARTA - Marvel Studios released the first trailer for the Avengers: Doomsday film that audiences are looking forward to. This trailer was first shown at CinemaCon in private in April.

This two-minute trailer shows the events seven years after "Avengers: Endgame". One of the actors, Robert Downey Jr. marked his return to the Marvel world with a new character, Doctor Doom.

The Marvel heroes gather as Doctor Doom prepares to destroy the unity of the various worlds. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) tightens his fist and meets Captain America (Chris Evans) to reunite them.

Several characters from the X-Men universe such as Professor Xavier, Magneto, Mystique, Cyclops and Gambit from Deadpool and Wolverine are also seen in the trailer. As well as characters from the Fantastic Four and Thunderbolts are also back.

Directed by the Russo brothers, Avengers: Doomsday tells the story of heroes from different universes; Avengers, Wakanda and the new Avengers from Earth-616, the Fantastic Four from Earth-828, and the original X-Men who face the threat of Doctor Doom.

Doctor Doom's presence was also seen in the film Fantastic Four: First Steps. Several Marvel stars who returned for Doomsday were revealed through a series of photos behind the chair.

Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Tom Hiddleston, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Simu Liu and Tenoch Huerta are confirmed to return along with Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen and Lewis Pullman.

The characters from the original X-Men who are confirmed to act in this film are Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, Alan Cumming, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, and Rebecca Romijn.

The film Avengers: Doomsday will be shown in cinemas starting December 18, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars.
