JAKARTA - With the development of automotive technology, modern cars are now equipped with various advanced features that support daily activities. One of them is Vehicle to Load (V2L), a feature that is also present on the Chery Tiggo 9 CSH.

The V2L feature allows the SUV to function as an external power source to operate various electronic devices. Its ability has also recently been used for a different experience, namely turning on the television while watching the World Cup final in a watch party held by Otobogor, a community of automotive journalists based in Bogor, West Java.

Located in Puncak area, Bogor, on July 20, the atmosphere of the nobar was getting more exciting because all the television electricity needs were supplied directly from the V2L feature of the Chery Tiggo 9 CSH.

Interestingly, operating this feature is also relatively easy. So, how?

Referring to Chery's official website, quoted Monday (20/7), users simply connect an adapter or V2L connector to the vehicle's charging port. If you use the outlet available in the cabin, the electronic device just needs to be connected directly to the socket.

Next, activate the Vehicle to Load menu via the infotainment screen. Users can also set a minimum limit for the battery capacity that they want to maintain so that the vehicle still has enough power to continue the journey.

After the settings are complete, activate the V2L function and the connected electronic device will immediately receive an electrical supply from the car battery.

Technically, this feature works by utilizing the electrical energy stored in the vehicle's traction battery. The direct current (DC) from the battery is then converted to alternating current (AC) through an inverter so that it can be used to operate various electronic devices that require an AC power supply.
