Indonesia is Ready to Host the Second Round of the SEA V Cup 2026

JAKARTA - The organizing committee ensures that Indonesia is ready to host the second round of the Southeast Asia Volleyball (SEA) V Cup 2026 volleyball tournament which will take place this week in Jakarta.

The second round of the 2026 SEA V Cup in Indonesia will roll on July 22-26, 2026 at the Jakarta International Velodrome, Rawamangun, East Jakarta. Various preparations have been made by the committee to welcome the event.

Zulfarshah as the Chairman of the SEA V Cup 2026 Organizing Committee said that his party would prepare as best as possible to welcome the tournament involving countries in Southeast Asia.

"We hope that the people of Jakarta and Indonesia in general can watch the Indonesian National Volleyball Team (competing in the event)," said the man who won the gold medal at the 1987 SEA Games to the media in Bogor.

The committee provides tickets every day online and offline for the tournament. Both purchase options are provided to make it easier for fans who want to see Farhan Halim and colleagues' struggles on the field.

The cheapest tickets are sold at Rp100 thousand and the most expensive at Rp500 thousand. The very friendly ticket price with the pocket is expected to attract more spectators, especially Indonesia has just won the 2026 AVC Cup Men's Volleyball Cup.

"We will exceed the capacity we did yesterday. If yesterday it was a total of about 12 thousand spectators, now maybe 15 thousand more spectators can attend the Jakarta International Velodrome," said Zulfarshah.

The Chairman of the Central Board of the Indonesian Volleyball Association (PP PBVSI), Imam Sudjarwo, asked for support and blessings from supporters of the Indonesian National Volleyball Team to face the second round of the 2026 SEA V Cup.

He hopes that the direct support to the Jakarta International Velodrome will make the players more motivated and give the best game in the ASEAN volleyball event.

"Just pray that we win so that we can defend the title. The expectations of the Indonesian people are extraordinary because they have won the AVC. Here, let's not get lost. Hopefully the map of the competition has changed," said Imam.

In the 2025 edition, it was recorded that the Indonesian Men's Volleyball Team, which is still coached by Jeff Jiang, was able to become champions in front of their own public. At that time, Jasen Natanael Kilanta and his colleagues appeared to be powerful with a record of not losing against the Philippines (3-2), Vietnam (3-1), Cambodia (3-0), and Thailand (3-2).

Indonesia played at home after failing to bring home the title from the first round match which took place in the Philippines last week. The dream of the team under Riedel Toiran disappeared just like that after losing to Cambodia.
