Prabowo Collects Cabinet After Four Months, Priority Programs Evaluated
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto again led the Plenary Cabinet Meeting after about four months. The meeting was held at the Presidential Office at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Monday (20/7), focused on evaluating government programs and obstacles to their implementation.
The previous cabinet meeting was held on March 13. This time the meeting was attended by all ministers, deputy ministers, heads of agencies, and deputy heads of agencies.
A number of heads of state institutions were also present. Among them were the National Police Chief, the TNI Commander, the Head of the National Intelligence Agency, and the Attorney General.
Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said the President asked all levels to evaluate the ongoing work program. Obstacles in the field must be mapped and immediately found a way out.
"In the evaluation process, what is often talked about is the obstacles that may still exist and then find a way out," said Prasetyo after the trial.
According to Prasetyo, the evaluation covers almost all fields. However, the focus of discussion can change according to the issues that are developing.
"Sometimes it depends on the dynamics that occur, so the focus can be on several things. For example, regarding the economy, the focus is on economic problems, but that does not mean that other problems are not important," he said.
Prasetyo said the President again emphasized the acceleration of the implementation of the programs that have been set. Ministers and heads of agencies are asked to work harder so that the government's targets are not stalled.
"The last emphasis from the President is to continue to strive, work harder, and accelerate the achievement of all the programs that he has outlined," he said.
