Regarding the Febrie Adriansyah case, the Palace emphasized that it would not interfere with law enforcement

JAKARTA - Special Presidential Advisor for Communication, Hasan Nasbi, gave a press conference at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, ahead of the implementation of the Plenary Cabinet Meeting on Monday (20/7/2026).

On this occasion, Hasan revealed a number of important agendas of President Prabowo Subianto, the government's attitude towards law enforcement, to his response regarding rumors of cabinet reshuffles.

The agenda of the plenary Cabinet Meeting

Hasan confirmed that the President is scheduled to lead the Plenary Cabinet Meeting in the afternoon at around 15.00 WIB. The main agenda of this meeting focuses on direct briefings from the President regarding the acceleration of development.

"The invitation is a plenary session. It is possible for the president's direction to accelerate development programs and presidential flagship programs," said Hasan when met by the media at the Presidential Palace Complex.

He added that the briefing would include an evaluation and acceleration of all government priority programs.

Febrie Adriansyah case and Commitment to Law Enforcement

When confirmed regarding the status of Febrie Adriansyah who has been named a suspect but has not been detained, Hasan emphasized that the government fully respects the legal process that is underway and will not intervene.

Law enforcement, said Hasan, will be independent. "We will leave that to the process held by the law enforcement. Because the government in this case does not intervene in law enforcement. Let it be the authority of the investigators and law enforcement," he said.

"Responding to public concerns about the credibility of handling cases at the Prosecutor's Office, Hasan is optimistic that law enforcement in the era of President Prabowo Subianto's leadership will run fairly and transparently," he said.

"God willing, under the administration of President Prabowo Subianto, this law enforcement will be prudent, clear, and clear. So God willing, friends don't have to worry about that," added Hasan.

Responding to rumors circulating regarding the planned cabinet reshuffle in early August - including news of the entry of a new Public Works Minister (PU) - Hasan chose not to provide further speculation.

"I don't know about that," concluded Hasan Nasbi.
