One Year After Her Father's Death, Sarwendah Posted a Sad Message: There is an Irreplaceable Person

JAKARTA - The atmosphere of grief envelops the social media page of celebrity Sarwendah. Through a short video upload on his personal Instagram account, the former wife of Ruben Onsu remembers exactly one year after the departure of his beloved father who is familiarly called Yeye.

In the upload, Sarwendah shared a compilation of precious moments with her late father. From their time together on vacation, to the last moments of her father undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Sarwendah inserts a touching narrative in the video. For him, a year feels like it has passed so quickly even though the grief is still etched in the family's hearts.

"One year has passed, it feels like yesterday. There is a figure that no one can replace," said Sarwendah, quoted by VOI, Monday, July 20.

The former Cherrybelle member also revealed how great the sense of loss felt by his family. Yeye is known as a man close to his grandchildren, Thalia and Thania, and is always present in every important moment of Sarwendah's life.

"There is a laugh that we still miss. There is no day without remembering you. Thank you for being the best part of our lives," he continued.

The departure of his father a year ago was indeed a heavy blow for Sarwendah. Although now he has tried to be tough and return to normal activities, the longing for his parents has never faded with time.

For Sarwendah, the love and memories left by her father will remain eternal in her heart. She closed the message with a sincere confession of deep longing.

"Rindu tak mengenal waktu. Dan hari ini, kami masih sangat merindukanmu," tutup Sarwendah.
