The rupiah calculation in this article uses a US$ 1 exchange rate equivalent to Rp. 17,942.50. This value may change following the movement of exchange rates and transaction rates of each bank.

Before the addition of the allocation, FIFA set a prize of US$ 29 million or around Rp. 520.33 billion for the third-ranked team. The team that finishes in fourth place gets US$ 27 million or around Rp. 484.45 billion.

FIFA then increased the qualifying money for each participant by US$ 1 million or around Rp. 17.94 billion. With this increase, England received US$ 30 million or Rp. 538.28 billion, while France received US$ 28 million or Rp. 502.39 billion.

The victory in the third-place battle resulted in a difference of US$ 2 million or around Rp. 35.89 billion.

The funds are given to the participating football federations, not directly to the players. The distribution of bonuses to players and staff depends on the policies and agreements of each federation.

In addition to the prize based on the final position, each participant receives US$ 2.5 million or around Rp. 44.86 billion to finance preparations ahead of the tournament.

If the preparation funds are included, the total direct allocation obtained by England reaches US$ 32.5 million or around Rp. 583.13 billion. France received US$ 30.5 million or around Rp. 547.25 billion.

FIFA's initial data set the financial contribution of the 2026 World Cup at US$ 727 million or around Rp. 13.04 trillion.

Of this amount, US$ 655 million or around Rp. 11.75 trillion was allocated as a prize for the 48 teams participating in the 2026 World Cup.

FIFA then increased the overall distribution to member associations to US$ 871 million or around Rp. 15.63 trillion.

The addition includes an increase in qualifying money, preparation costs, delegation subsidies, and additional ticket allocations for participating teams.

Thus, the figure of US$ 703 million or around Rp. 12.61 trillion which was previously reported as a collection of prizes no longer reflects FIFA's latest financial decisions.

This figure does not include the preparation fund of US$ 2.5 million or around Rp. 44.86 billion received by each participant.

The 2026 World Cup champion will receive US$ 51 million or around Rp. 915.07 billion. The team that loses in the final match gets US$ 34 million or around Rp. 610.05 billion.

Argentina and Spain are the two countries vying for the biggest prize in the 2026 World Cup final.
