Government Verifies Unlivable Houses of Parents of Students of People's Schools
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) together with the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning (PKP) verified that the houses of the parents of students of the People's School (SR) who were proposed to receive a house surgery program in West Java were uninhabitable.
The verification is carried out to check the eligibility of the recipients of assistance, both in terms of physical houses and supporting documents.
The special staff of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Ishaq Zubaedi Raqib, said that his party did not deny the many challenges and dynamics in the field so that it needed periodic coordination between ministries. Challenges in the field include land ownership status requirements and other technical matters but are an absolute requirement to qualify as a beneficiary.
"The Ministry of PKP has parameters for the development of the Self-Help Housing Stimulus Assistance (BSPS), in the Ministry of Social Affairs there is a Integrated Prosperous House (RST). We sit together to reconcile data, at least for West Java, we have to find a meeting point," said Ishaq as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, July 18.
Before going to the field, the Kemensos and the Ministry of PKP teams synchronized data at the Office of the Implementation of Housing and Residential Areas (BP3KP) of Java II.
Meanwhile, Head of the Implementation Office for Housing and Residential Areas (BP3KP) Java II Mochamad Mulya Permana explained that West Java received a large portion of the surgery. Specifically for the proposal from the Ministry of Social Affairs, the quota reached 1,517 units, this number does not include proposals from local governments, council members, and other ministries and agencies.
"This meeting is a material for our evaluation, hopefully there will be a way out to improve in the future, there is still time until the end of the year. We will try to improve and change," he said.
After data synchronization, the team together checked randomly to the field, with the target location being the house that had been verified and declared to pass, the house that had not been verified, and the house that had been verified but was declared not to pass.
The team targeted three points on the first day of checking, namely two locations in Cibondewah Rahayu Village, Bandung Kulon District, Bandung City, with the beneficiary families (KPM) on behalf of Amiduddin Hamzah and Agus and one point in Warung Muncang Village, Bandung Kulon, Bandung City on behalf of Heni. From the results of field checks, these three locations were declared passed and will be repaired immediately.
"The estimate for the implementation (of repairs) in August, the implementation of three months at most," said Mulya.
Nationally, the government through the 3 million houses for the people program targets the renovation of 10 thousand Unfit Housing Units (RTLH) for parents of Rakyat School students through the Self-Housing Stimulus Assistance (BSPS) program. This program is a synergy between the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Public Housing to alleviate extreme poverty by dissecting the houses of families of Rakyat School students to make them more habitable.
To be eligible for this assistance, prospective recipients must meet a number of strict criteria that have been set, including citizenship status (WNI) who are married, registered in the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN) at the 4th district.
