13 KA Departure from Gambir Stops at Jatinegara Imbas There is a Concert at Monas

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Operation (Daop) 1 Jakarta provides additional stopping facilities for 13 long-distance train trips (KAJJ) departing Gambir Station at Jatinegara Station on Saturday.

KAI Public Relations Manager Daop 1 Jakarta Franoto Wibowo said the extraordinary stop operation pattern (BLB) was implemented to provide an alternative access to departure for passengers, as well as anticipate the potential for passenger density and traffic around the Gambir Station area in connection with the implementation of the 2026 Monas Grand Concert.

"Through this operating pattern, KAI provides additional stopping facilities at Jatinegara Station. Customers who have a ticket for departure from Gambir Station can choose to ride from Jatinegara Station to the train that has been designated as an extraordinary stop," said Franoto, quoting Antara.

"The operational engineering is prepared to facilitate public access, especially for customers who are potentially affected by the density of traffic flow to the Gambir area and the National Monument (Monas), considering that the concert is scheduled to start at 17.00 WIB until it is completed.

Although there are additional stopping facilities at Jatinegara Station, he ensured that dozens of train trips were still departing from Gambir Station according to the schedule on the ticket.

Jatinegara Station only serves to serve the boarding process of passengers before the train continues its journey to the final destination station.
