West Java Police Chief Strengthens Bhabinkamtibmas as the Frontline Guard

BANDUNG - West Java Police Chief Inspector General Pipit Rismanto places Bhabinkamtibmas as the front line of police service. This policy is one of the initial directions of his leadership in West Java.

Pipit conveyed this during the Bhabinkamtibmas Belt Apel at the West Java Police Headquarters, Bandung, Friday (17/7). This activity was also his first introduction to a number of community elements since he took office as the West Java Police Chief.

According to Pipit, West Java has high social dynamics. This province is also a buffer region for the capital, educational centers, industrial areas, investment destinations, and tourist areas.

Therefore, he encouraged the strengthening of the role of Bhabinkamtibmas who are in direct contact with the community at the village and sub-district levels.

Pipit also introduced the "Together with Special Care for West Java" program which contains nine work directions or Commander Wish. The program is carried out with four principles, namely adaptive, responsive, collaborative, and solutive.

He asked for support from various elements of society, ranging from religious figures, customary figures, youth figures, local governments, the TNI, community organizations, to political elements.

Pipit is a 1994 graduate of the Police Academy. Before leading the West Java Police, he served as the West Kalimantan Police Chief.

Former West Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol (Ret.) Anton Charliyan stated that he was ready to support and escort the new Police Chief program. Anton Charliyan, who is familiarly called Abah Anton, who is also the Chairman of the West Java Sunda Custom Assembly, also invited all elements of society to participate in making the program a success.

"Whether asked or not, as a retired police officer, I will always support and escort the West Java police program," said Abah Anton.

He also conveyed his congratulations to Pipit Rismanto and hoped that the new Police Chief would receive support from members and the people of West Java.

The apple was attended by the main officials of the West Java Police, the regional police chiefs and regional police chiefs, Bhabinkamtibmas from various regions, as well as a number of religious, community, and organizational figures.
