Erling Haaland Finally Answers Tom Holland's Invitation: Say the Place!

JAKARTA - Footballer Erling Haaland finally accepted Tom Holland's invitation to go out with him. Holland admitted that the personal message on his Instagram was ignored by the 25-year-old athlete.

During The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Tom Holland admitted that he sent a message to Haaland after seeing a post on X (Twitter) that said Haaland didn't know who Tom Holland was.

"Yes, yes, and I'll tell you that this is a humbling experience for actors. You know, you'll do "I'll send you a message, I'll invite you to dinner, deh" but there's no response, no reason, no reply like "I'm busy tonight, I'm playing ball."

Holland explained that he sent Haaland a message after watching the Monaco Grand Prix in Formula 1 in June.

"He was looking not far across from me and I thought I'd do it. Send him a message. I didn't imagine I'd be talking on national television but here we are," said Tom Holland.

Erling Haaland became a discussion at the 2026 World Cup tournament so that he went viral because of his actions and things around him.

Wednesday, July 15 local time, Erling Haaland wrote a comment in a video clip of Holland's interview in the event. Haaland wrote, "Dinner invitation accepted @tomholand2013. A little late. Name the place!"

On the other hand, Tom Holland is promoting his latest film directed by Christopher Nolan - The Odyssey. In this film he plays a role with his girlfriend, Zendaya.
