US Sixth Night Attack Kills 7 in Iran's Bandar e Khamir
JAKARTA - It is reported that seven people were killed and nine others were injured in the latest American attack in Bandar e Khamir City, southern Iran.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) on Thursday (16/7) local time announced a series of new strikes against Iranian targets. This is the sixth consecutive night attack.
Tehran and Washington signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on June 18 evening to end the war that has been going on since February 28.
However, the US military has launched several attacks on Iran since July 8 under the pretext that the attacks were carried out in response to Iran's actions against commercial vessels crossing the Strait of Hormuz.
In response to the action, the Iranian military retaliated by targeting US bases in several Middle Eastern countries.
In addition, Tehran also accused Washington of violating the ceasefire they had agreed on.
On July 9, US President Donald Trump declared the ceasefire no longer in effect.
