Transjakarta Temporarily Closes Kebon Sirih Stop Towards the City Starting Tonight, Following the MRT Project Road Improvement 

JAKARTA - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) temporarily closed the Kebon Sirih Stop service towards the City starting Friday, July 17 at 22.00 WIB until Monday, July 20 at 05.00 WIB. The closure was carried out due to road repair work affected by the construction of the Jakarta MRT.

Even though the stop is temporarily closed, the operation of the Transjakarta service is still running normally. Customers who usually get on and off at the Kebon Sirih Stop towards the City are asked to use the nearest stop during the work.

Head of Public Relations and CSR Department of PT Transportasi Jakarta Ayu Wardhani said that the adjustment of services was carried out to support the development of public transportation while maintaining customer safety during the work process.

"During the temporary closure of the Kebon Sirih Bus Stop towards the City, we urge customers to use the alternative bus stops that have been prepared so that travel remains safe, comfortable, and smooth," said Ayu in a statement, Friday, July 17.

As an alternative, customers can use the Bank Indonesia Stop or the National Monument Stop to continue their journey towards the city. Transjakarta also encourages customers to arrange their travel time.

"Transjakarta fully supports the development of integrated public transportation in Jakarta," said Ayu.
