New Mitsubishi Xforce HEV Launched, Once Filled with Fuel, Claimed to Reach 1,000 Km

JAKARTA - Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) officially launched the Mitsubishi New Xforce, which comes with various updates and is developed specifically to meet the mobility needs of Indonesia's increasingly dynamic, modern urban community, with a focus on improving the quality of the driving experience.

Carrying the concept of 'Elevated Urban SUV', the New Xforce comes with comprehensive improvements in design, comfort, features, safety technology, to electrification technology using Mitsubishi Motors' second generation Hybrid Electric Vehicle.

The concept of "Elevated" on the Mitsubishi New Xforce is a reflection of Mitsubishi Motors' commitment to continue listening to customers and bringing development that is relevant to their needs. One manifestation is the presence of a frameless panoramic roof, a feature that many consumers expect to provide a more premium driving experience through a cabin that feels more spacious, bright, and comfortable.

President Director of PT MMKSI, Atsushi Kurita, said the company's commitment to Indonesia continued after the 55th anniversary

Mitsubishi Motors' journey in Indonesia, today, is an important milestone with the introduction of the New Xforce HEV, our first Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) in Indonesia.

"The presence of this model further expands the mobility options for customers while still providing the trust, reliability, and driving performance that are the hallmark of Mitsubishi Motors," he said in an official statement received, Friday, July 17.

"More than just introducing electrification technology, the New Xforce HEV produced at PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia (MMKI) marks our strategic step in strengthening Indonesia's role as a production and export base for HEV vehicles for both domestic and global markets," he added.

In terms of comfort, the New Xforce presents a cabin designed to support daily activities and family travel.

Improvements to the suspension, spacious cabin space, rear bench with 8 comfort settings, and features such as Dual auto A/C with NanoeX, power driver seat, power tailgate, ambient light, to Yamaha Premium Audio on certain packages, make the journey feel calmer, smoother, and more enjoyable.

Every interior detail is designed to create a more modern, comfortable, and connected driving atmosphere with the needs of today's consumers. Not just an improvement in features, the "Elevated" concept on the New Xforce is also strengthened through the presence of electrification technology on the HEV variant. Through the "Elevated by Electric" approach, Mitsubishi Motors presents a more responsive, smooth, silent, and efficient driving experience, without losing the typical driving characteristics of Mitsubishi SUVs that are easy to control and provide confidence in various road conditions.

In terms of performance, this SUV relies on a 1.6L DOHC MIVEC engine combined with an electric motor. This system produces motor power of 116 PS and motor torque of 255 Nm, as well as engine power of 107 PS and engine torque of 134 Nm. The Xforce hybrid technology is equipped with an electric motor that acts as the main driver in many driving conditions, especially when starting to walk, accelerating at low speeds, and facing urban traffic.

The machine is also equipped with seven driving modes (Drive Modes), namely Normal, Wet, Gravel, Mud, and three latest modes, namely Tarmac, EV Priority, and Charge. With a fuel tank capacity of 42 liters, the Xforce hybrid is claimed to be able to cover a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers in one full charge.

Talking about prices, the Mitsubishi Xforce HEV is Rp445 million with details of the Xforce Ultimate Rp399 million and the Mitsubishi Xforce Exceed Rp388 million.
