Bulu Kuduk Berdiri, Frislly Herlind Tells of Mystical Disturbance While Shooting Sajen Satu Suro

JAKARTA - The horror film Sajen Satu Suro not only presents tension on the screen, but also leaves a mystical story for its actors. Frislly Herlind, one of the main actors, revealed that the shooting location used was an original building that had been vacant for a long time in Yogyakarta.

"We are filming in a location where the real house is an empty house. I also don't understand why maybe Mr. Agus and Mr. Gatot want to make all their friends feel that they are really there," said Frislly Herlind in a press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 14.

Strange events began to appear during the shooting process, especially when there were heavy scenes involving the four main characters. Frislly recounted how the power plant or generator at the location suddenly died repeatedly without a clear technical reason.

"When we were filming, there was a scene that was pretty heavy for the four of us. Tapipada at that time, the generator suddenly died, died several times. And until finally the local people there told me that the sajen was lacking," he recalled.

Uniquely, the problem was immediately resolved after the production team followed the advice of local residents to provide offerings.

"Actually, we are playing the title of Sajen Satu Suro. So we provide the sajen near the generator, it doesn't burn for long but it has died four times before," added Frislly.

Brian's love, who plays Jeff, also shared a similar experience that made him stop being too curious. He told the moment when he tried to explore the set alone before filming began, but ended up with an unforgettable experience.

"In his house, the horror I had been there alone while waiting for the shoot. Then later Frislly said 'Oh this is for a while, it seems someone wants to communicate'. Then he asked me, 'Jeff, what are you doing? What are you doing? There against it?', "said Cinta Brian, imitating Frislly's words at that time.

Cinta admitted that she was very surprised because Frislly - who was allegedly having an intimate relationship - knew the details of her movements even though she didn't see it directly.

"Hah, the children don't know I'm there, how did he know? Oh, this is not Frislly. It's creepy," he said.

Because of the incident, Cinta Brian admitted that he preferred to be silent and hide near Frislly while on location, which he considered very haunted.

"I'm a person who is depressed until I'm not depressed. I asked Frislly about something, so I didn't want to ask anymore because I knew it myself," he said.

Closing the story, Frislly said that the disturbance fortunately did not hurt the crew or the players.

"Fortunately, during the filming process there was no excessive disturbance. Everyone was comfortable, except that it was more disturbing for me and Aisyah to take care of our two male friends," he joked.
