Case of Intimidation of Priest Continues, Lawyer for Ex-Client of Domestic Violence Court Threatened with Ethics Trial

JAKARTA - Lawyer Ojahan Erikson Pakpahan is threatened with an ethics trial at the Central Honor Council of the PERADI DPN due to alleged violations of the Code of Ethics for Lawyers.

He was reported by a priest with the initials J after allegedly spreading slander and pressuring the church institution to dismiss the victim, following the defense of his client named Alpriado Osmond, a former KDRT inmate in a case of violent intimidation against the family of a priest whose video went viral some time ago.

This report began with the actions of Ojahan together with Hisar Sihotang as the manager of the NGO GRACIA who sent an official letter to the church headquarters where Pastor J was sheltering.

In the letter, they demanded that Pastor J be dismissed dishonorably with the charge of committing an act in violation of the law.

"Until now, there has not been a single court ruling in Indonesia that states that I have violated the law, but why Ojahan Pakpahan as an educated person who understands the law, even openly slander me and damage my reputation by saying I have violated the law? Isn't it that a lawyer is a noble profession?," said J.

In the document received by the editorial board, the complaint letter sent to the church was known to use the letterhead of the NGO GRACIA.

This organization had previously been in the public spotlight for vocalizing in defense of EJH, the alleged perpetrator of bullying at Penabur Intercultural School, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

EJH's own grandfather, Jonni Pakpahan, was known to sit as an Advisory Board of the NGO GRACIA, but since the bullying case in Penabur highlighted his grandson EJH's name until it went viral, Jonni's name suddenly disappeared from the management.

Pendeta J also highlighted the irregularities related to the position of the former KDRT convict, Alpriado Osmond, who was Ojahan's client.

According to him, Alpriado who is not a law graduate and is a former KDRT judge, after no longer working as an auditor at RSM Indonesia was allegedly fired, now he is actually serving as a legal advisor at the NGO.

Ojahan Pakpahan is also known as the Legal Representative of Alpriado Osmond in his second divorce trial, which is currently rolling at the Tangerang District Court, where the wife of the former KDRT Napi is the sister-in-law of Pastor J.

For the actions of Ojahan and Hisar Sihotang, Pastor J has appointed Friska Gultom and Partners as lawyers to pursue legal action.

In addition, Alpriado Osmond himself, based on the existing digital trace search, was again stumbled upon a legal case at the North Jakarta Metro Police based on a Police Report from Pastor J for acts of intimidation accompanied by violence that Alpriado Osmond had carried out with a number of OTK to Pastor J and his son and his wife whose news had gone viral in December 2025 and Ojahan Pakpahan himself is the Legal Representative of the Former KDRT Napi.

In the midst of this heated conflict, the legality of the NGO GRACIA which is located at Jl. Yos Sudarso No. 57, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, is also in the spotlight. Based on the search on the website of the General Legal Administration (AHU) of the Ministry of Law as well as the Community Organization Information System (Siormas) of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the DKI Jakarta Police, official information regarding the legality and establishment of the organization has not been found or has not found specific information.
