Zeekr 9X Interior Five Seats Revealed, Legroom Reaches 1.4 Meters
JAKARTA - Zeekr showed the interior of the 9X five-seat SUV ahead of its launch in China. The Geely-owned global model offers up to 1.4 meters of legroom for rear passengers.
CarNewsChina in a report quoted Wednesday, July 15, said the five-seat Zeekr 9X had previously opened early reservations. The car is also scheduled to enter a number of markets outside China this year.
The official photo shows a brown cabin with a focus on the comfort of the two rear passengers on the left and right sides. The seats are equipped with electric footrests, heating, ventilation, massage, and zero-gravity mode.
The center seat can be folded into a handrest. The part is equipped with a physical button, a place for glasses, two wireless phone chargers, and a storage space underneath.
Zeekr said the rear passenger foot space reached 1.4 meters. For comparison, the five-seat Range Rover offers 1.22 meters of foot space.
Other cabin features include a Naim audio system with 32 speakers, ambient lighting, an onboard refrigerator, and electric sunblinds. The seatbelts are integrated into both side seats.
The five-seat variant uses Nappa full-grain leather and 14 Nordic-style natural wood panels. However, the capacity of the trunk has not been revealed in the report.
Zeekr 9X has a length of 5,239 millimeters, a width of 2,029 millimeters, and a height of 1,819 millimeters. Its wheelbase reaches 3,169 millimeters.
Compared to the Mercedes-Benz GLS, the SUV is 32 millimeters longer and 75 millimeters wider, but 4 millimeters lower.
The standard version is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system that combines a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with two electric motors. The combined power reaches 660 kW or 885 horsepower.
This car is capable of accelerating from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.9 seconds.
There is a 55 kWh battery with an electric range of 300 kilometers and a 70 kWh battery with a range of 380 kilometers. These figures use the CLTC standard, which is a method of testing vehicle range in China.
The highest variant uses three electric motors with a power of 1,030 kW or 1,381 horsepower. This version can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.1 seconds and travel up to 355 kilometers using battery power.
Other features include the G-ASD H9 driving assistance system, a 48-volt active roll stabilization bar, and a two-chamber air suspension.
As an illustration, the six-seat version of the Zeekr 9X is sold from 465,900 to 599,900 yuan or around 68,810 to 88,600 US dollars. CarNewsChina has not mentioned the price of the five-seat version.
CarNewsChina also said that the cumulative shipment of the Zeekr 9X had exceeded 60,000 units. The model is claimed to lead the high-end SUV segment for seven consecutive months.
