Majority of Germans Unhappy with German Chancellor's Performance

JAKARTA - A poll by the sociology agency Forsa for the television station RTL showed that 85 percent of Germans expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and his cabinet.

As reported by ANTARA from Sputnik, Wednesday, July 15, the survey also showed that 82 percent of respondents expressed dissatisfaction with the government's performance.

The survey also revealed that Germans have a negative assessment of the future of the German economy, with 67 percent of respondents expecting the economic situation in Germany to worsen, while 31 percent expect it to remain the same or improve.

The poll was conducted from July 7-13 and involved 2,503 people with an error margin of about 2.5 percentage points.
