Pocophone Comeback In Indonesia Will Bring Poco F2 Pro
JAKARTA - Pocophone has finally officially introduced its newest high-end smartphone series, the Poco F2 Pro. Not much different from its predecessor, this Xiaomi subsidiary provides its cellphones with capable and neat specifications.
Launching XDA Developers, Wednesday, May 13, is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that has 2400 x 1080 pixels, Full HD + with a to-body ratio of 92.7 percent. Even though this phone only has a 60 Hz refresh rate screen, the Poco F2 Pro is equipped with a touch sampling rate of up to 180 Hz.
This phone is also powered by a superior chipset, namely, Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 865 coupled with Adreno 650GPU. The Poco F2 Pro also features an on-screen fingerprint scanner and supports 5G and WiFI 6 network connectivity.
Other supporting features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster feature and NFC. It is claimed that the Poco F2 Pro will compete with superior cellphone models such as the OnePlus 8.
For gaming activities, this phone has also been embedded with LiquidCool 2.0 so it doesn't heat up easily. The Poco F2 Pro is also equipped with a Vapor Chamber cooling system, which keeps the cellphone cool when multi-tasking.
The camera sector, the Poco F2 Pro, has a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, which functions as the main camera, with a 13MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. The pop-up camera, which functions as a selfie sensor, is a 20MP lens. The rear camera setup is capable of recording videos in 8K resolution at 24fps, and 4K at 60fps.
The battery on this cellphone has a capacity of 4,700mAh with support for the fast-charging 30W feature which will be 100 percent charged in just 60 minutes. Poco F2 Pro is available in two configuration options of 6 GB RAM with 128 GB ROM and 8 GB RAM with 256 GB ROM.
The Poco F2 Pro is the successor to the Pocophone F1, which was launched in 2018. This Chinese cellphone vendor is also well received by the smartphone market in Indonesia.
"We finally came back. It's been a long time, but we came back," said Poco F2 Pro marketing manager, Angus Ng.
This phone comes in four color choices, namely, Neon Blue, Electric Purple, Cyber Gray, Phantom White. The Poco F2 Pro is priced at 499 euros or around Rp. 8 million for the 6 GB RAM variant + 128 GB ROM and the highest version of 8 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM is priced at 599 euros or Rp.9.6 million for the European market.
Even so, it is not yet known when the Poco F2 Pro cellphone will be marketed in Indonesia soon. It's just that the leak says this cellphone has passed the TKDN of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin). This means that it will not be long before the Poco F2 Pro will be sold in Indonesia.
