Mitsubishi Shows Off New Hybrid SUV Silhouette, Debut Soon

JAKARTA - PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) is confirmed to soon introduce Mitsubishi Motors' first Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) model for the domestic market.

This refers to the silhouette shared and the model is the latest model that carries the Elevated Urban SUV concept to support an increasingly dynamic urban lifestyle.

From the silhouette that is shared, it is very similar to the Mitsubishi XForce hybrid which is already present in the neighboring country, the front fascia looks modern and sharp.

"Combining modern design, electrification technology, and various features that are relevant to the needs of today's customers, this latest model is designed to provide a more comfortable, confident, and enjoyable driving experience on every journey," said the company, Tuesday, July 14.

If true, referring to the Thai market, this hybrid variant uses the same engine as the Xpander HEV, namely a 1600 cc gasoline engine with the code 4A92 which works with the Atkinson cycle.

Its power output reaches 95 hp and peak torque of 134 Nm. Thanks to the hybrid system, the combined power that can be collected reaches 116 hp and 255 Nm of torque.

The diamond-logo manufacturer also leaked the time of its introduction. It is said that the public and automotive lovers will be the first to witness the arrival of this vehicle through a special display which begins on July 16, 2026 at Mal Kota Kasablanka.
