Leaving The RBW Agency, Wheein Is Still A Member Of MAMAMOO

JAKARTA - Today, Friday, June 11, it is confirmed that Wheein will not renew her exclusive contract with the RBW agency that houses the MAMAMOO group. This is different from the other three members: Solar, Hwasa, and Moonbyul who continue.

"We fully respect Wheein's decision and wish Wheein the best of luck and happiness as she embarks on a new career," RBW said.

Despite not continuing the contract and leaving RBW, Wheein is still a member of MAMAMOO and will carry out future group activities.

“Wheein signed an agreement with our company until December 2023 for several activities such as the production of MAMAMOO's new album and concerts. MAMAMOO's music will continue and we will provide information about future activities."

MAMAMOO as a vocal group has displayed the quality of their talents with various hits since their debut in 2014 starting from Mr. Mamamoo. Piano Man, Um Oh Ah Ye, Decalcomanie, Starry Night, Gogobebe, HIP and more.

In April, Wheein released a mini album titled Redd. With the title track, Water Color, the album has topped various South Korean music charts.

Solar and Moonbyul renewed their contracts with RBW in January this year, as did Hwasa in March.

Recently they also made a comeback with a song called Where Are We Now. This song is the start of the 2021 project. Reportedly a summer concert is being prepared for fans named Moomoo.
