After shaking the American stage, Thee Marloes is ready to hold a showcase for a new album in Surabaya and Jakarta.
JAKARTA - The soul-pop band from Surabaya, Thee Marloes, is preparing to greet their fans again after successfully completing a four-week tour in the United States and Canada.
The group, which is led by Natassya Sianturi (vocals, keyboards), Sinatrya Dharaka (guitar), and Tommy Satwick (drums), will hold an album showcase* titled "Di Hotel Malibu" in two major cities, namely Surabaya and Jakarta.
This special performance will open at the Sahabat Hall, Surabaya, on Saturday, August 8, a week later, on Saturday, August 15, Thee Marloes will continue their stage action at the State Film Production (PFN), East Jakarta.
"We've been waiting for this moment since the album was finished. During the North American tour, we finally got to play the songs on 'In Malibu Hotel' in many cities," Natassya said in a statement, Monday, July 13.
"Now we can't wait to bring it to Indonesia in its entirety and meet up with friends at home," added Natassya.
Previously, from mid-June to early July 2026, Thee Marloes had explored various major cities in North America, ranging from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, Washington D.C., to Montreal.
The tour aims to introduce their second album, "In Malibu Hotel", which was released in May under the label of New York-based Big Crown Records.
The album is a continuation of their debut album, "Perak", which successfully brought their name to the global stage.
In this showcase, Thee Marloes is confirmed to bring all the song material from the album "Di Hotel Malibu" in full for the first time in front of the public itself.
Not only that, they also plan to bring some repertoire from their debut album as a release for loyal listeners.
Thee Marloes' own international journey is quite impressive. While in North America, they managed to try out stages such as The Chapel in San Francisco, Elsewhere in Brooklyn, to record a performance as a closing tour at the Montreal International Jazz Festival in Canada.
