Hayden Panettiere and Tori Spelling Suddenly Cancel from Horror Convention

JAKARTA - Hayden Panettiere and Tori Spelling canceled their appearances at the Creep I.E. Aftermath horror convention at the last minute due to emergencies.

E! News quoted Monday, July 13, reported that the two were scheduled to appear in an event that took place on July 11 and 12 in Ontario, California.

Organizers announced Panettiere's cancellation via Instagram on July 10.

"Hayden Panettiere is in a state of emergency and cannot attend this weekend. We hope she can perform in the upcoming event," wrote Creep I.E. Con.

The organizer did not explain the emergency. However, the representative of the Scream 4 star told People that the cancellation was related to personal family affairs and the health of an elderly relative.

Tori Spelling also withdrew from the convention due to an emergency. There was no further explanation about the reason for the Scary Movie actress' absence.

"Tori Spelling has a medical emergency and is no longer able to attend," organizers wrote.

Face/Off actress Dominique Swain and The Sarah Connor Chronicles star Brian Austin Green were then announced and appear to be Panettiere's and Spelling's replacements.
