79th National Cooperatives Day: Adityawarman Calls for Stronger Cooperatives Through Healthier Communities
BOGOR - The Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Adityawarman Adil, attended the Healthy Street Movement activity in commemoration of the 79th National Cooperative Day (Harkopnas) which was held by the Bogor City Regional Cooperative Council (Dekopinda), Sunday, July 12.
This year's Harkopnas commemoration carries the theme "Cooperative Power, Indonesia is Successful". The healthy walking activity took the route from the Bogor City Health Office (Dinkes) to the Bogor City Hall and was attended by hundreds of participants consisting of cooperative personnel and the general public.
On this occasion, Adityawarman Adil appreciated the initiative of the Bogor City Dekopinda which combines a healthy living campaign with the strengthening of the cooperative movement as one of the pillars of the people's economy.
According to him, public health is an important foundation for the creation of productivity, including in developing businesses and advancing cooperatives.
"This is one of the very good steps. In order to heal the economy of the people, of course, the body and the body must be healthy first," said Adityawarman.
He assessed that the theme "Cooperative Power, Indonesia is Successful" was in line with the spirit of building a strong regional economy through a healthy, professional, and capable cooperative to improve the welfare of its members.
Adityawarman hopes that activities like this can become a routine agenda because it not only strengthens the relationship between cooperative actors, but also encourages people to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
According to him, cooperative managers and members who have excellent physical conditions will be more ready to carry out various economic empowerment programs and strengthen the role of cooperatives in the development of Bogor City.
"Hopefully, the spirit of togetherness that is built through this activity can continue to strengthen the cooperative movement in Bogor City so that it can make a real contribution to improving people's welfare," he said.
