InJourney Airports President Director Mohammad R. According to Pahlevi, a number of transformation programs have been realized, including the operation of the 2F Hajj and Umrah Special Terminal which was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2025, the reopening of Terminal 1C after revitalization, to beautifying Terminal 3 which managed to get the 4-Star Skytrax rating.

"In 2026, the transformation program continues through the revitalization of Terminal 1A for better service, more complete facilities, and much more passenger capacity than the current 5.7 million to 10 million passengers per year," Pahlevi said in an official statement, Sunday, July 12.

Pahlevi said InJourney Airports is now accelerating transformation through three main programs to improve user experience (airport experience), namely Airport Revitalization & Beautification, Airport Transformation, and Tactical Recommendation Follow Up.

Various facilities that have been prepared include self bag drop, bag tracking, a more optimal baggage handling system, to biometric technology to speed up the departure process for passengers.

In addition, InJourney Airports will integrate the application on the smartphone with the digital wayfinding system so that service users can more easily find the location of facilities in the airport area.

"Not only facilities with technology, but world-class airport staff services are also included in the Airport Transformation program. We are forming a CX Academy for frontliners to be able to provide the best service," said Pahlevi.

Through the Tactical Recommendation Follow Up program, InJourney Airports follows up on various inputs from Skytrax, such as revitalization and addition of Flight Information Display System (FIDS), optimization of airport websites, and improvement of maintenance of facilities and infrastructure.

"The transformation program is part of an effort to provide a world-class airport experience. With the support of the government and the collaboration of all stakeholders, Soekarno-Hatta Airport will break into the world's top 10 airports by 2029," said Pahlevi.
