Ria Ricis chooses to celebrate her 31st birthday privately on the island
JAKARTA - Ria Ricis has just passed her 31st birthday. This year, Ricis chose a different way to interpret her birthday, namely with a more intimate celebration and focus on the development of children.
"Last year's birthday was very private. It was really intimate and wanted to heal. At the age of 31, it was really getting smaller," said Ria Ricis in the South Tangerang area, not long ago.
Instead of celebrating a festive party for himself, Ricis said he would only hold a big event when his child, Moana, had a birthday later. For his current age, the support of the closest people is more than enough.
"But if it's my child's birthday, we'll just invite a lot of guests. Thank God, there are many who support and celebrate. Even my friends have celebrated even though the day is long gone," he added.
Many people ask about what gifts he got from Moana. For Ricis, gifts don't always have to be in the form of luxury goods, but Moana's small achievements every day are priceless gifts.
"The gift from Moana is actually all and every day is a gift for me from Moana, because she always surprises me. From the beginning she has started to be smart, from the beginning she has started to be brave, that is already a gift for me," said Ricis.
He feels very grateful because even though some family members are far away, they still pay attention on his special day. One of them is the presence of relatives who have just returned from abroad.
"Coming home is also celebrated with the family, thank God, even though Ms. Okie is far from Egypt then she came home and celebrated. Until last night, friends were still celebrating," he explained.
On his happy day, Ricis spent time at sea just to relieve himself. He admitted that comfort was the main priority for him and his child when celebrating something.
"It was pretty comfortable for us yesterday to the beach and the sea yesterday. I really want it to be intimate. I create at home (and on vacation) how to make him feel at home," said Ricis again.
