Richa Novisha Reveals Lastri Arwah Kembang Desa Film as a Remedy for Missing Gary Iskak

JAKARTA - The atmosphere of grief enveloped the Gala Premiere of the film Lastri Arwah Kembang Desa. The presence of Richa Novisha, the wife of the late Garry Iskak, became the main spotlight because this film was one of the last works of the actor before he passed away.

Richa admitted that she had to strengthen her heart to attend the event.

"It actually strengthened my heart to come here again. Thank you Kak Bella for the opportunity to invite me to come today," said Richa in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Thursday, July 9.

For Richa, this film is not just entertainment, but a time capsule to miss her husband.

"It's really nice to have memories that insyaallahakan will be remembered for life by watching this film. At least there are moments to treat nostalgia, right, like that," he said.

Film producer, Audy Bella, revealed that this project was born from the encouragement of the late who was considered as his own family.

"From the late Bang Garry, there is still Bang Jo, there is our director, it's the three of us, the four of us, that's really from the beginning, from the very beginning, 'Bel, let's do it like that'," recalled Bella.

Bella also told how the late man became the most optimistic figure when he was hesitant to produce a big screen.

"The deceased who was really the most, 'Just calm down, let's go'. Then Bang Jo, there was also our director, 'Bismillah'. Yes, finally it became," he added.

Actor Yama Carlos also felt a deep loss because his closeness with Garry Iskak had been established for a very long time.

"If it's the same as the late, unfortunately, there was no social media. I was with the late, that was the old days, it was really a gancet. It was very close to him," said Yama.

Yama recounted his youth which was spent a lot with Garry before his best friend got married.

"Before meeting his wife, my youth was riding a motorcycle, studying in groups until the evening. This is why it is a wonderful work for me, it means a lot personally," he explained.

Hana Saraswati, the main character of this film, also praised the family atmosphere that the late built with the production team.

"It's amazing, amazing. This is an experience I will never forget because number one, this is all one gang, all friends," said Hana.

Even though he felt like a newcomer in the circle of friends, Hana felt very accepted.

"I don't know why it feels like I belong here. It feels like we just click and I don't feel like I'm an outsider at all," he admitted.

The film Lastri Arwah Kembang Desa is scheduled to be shown in cinemas starting July 16, and is also a form of appreciation for the dedication of the late Garry Iskak in the film industry.
