Raffi Says Haji Isam Has Shareholding in RANS

JAKARTA - PT Rans Entertainment Indonesia Tbk (RANS) Founder Raffi Ahmad revealed that businessman Andi Syamsuddin Arsyad or Haji Isam is one of the shareholders of RANS with ownership of more than 1 percent.

Raffi's statement was made in conjunction with Haji Isam's presence at the initial public offering (IPO) registration ceremony for RANS at the Main Hall of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) today, Friday (10/7).

"Indeed, he (Haji Isam) can be seen later because he has 1 percent ownership. And yes, he believes in RANS, he believes in me, he is also my mentor, one of my mentors," said Raffi, quoting Antara.

Raffi explained that Haji Isam has always encouraged the younger generation to continue to develop.

He assessed that the presence of entrepreneurs from South Kalimantan in the IPO ceremony was a form of support for RANS, as well as a positive signal for other investors to support the development of the national creative industry.

"That (the presence of Haji Isam) is also an honor for us, and also legitimate that a Haji Isam. And later there will be other pilgrims, other investor entrepreneurs who believe in us, it shows that RANS is not playing around," said Raffi.

However, based on the list of shareholders with ownership of more than 1 percent published by RANS, the name of Haji Isam and the company affiliated with him has not been listed.

In the list, Raffi Ahmad is recorded as owning 7.93 billion shares or equivalent to 62.93 percent. Then, PT Indonesia Entertainment Group, part of the Emtek Group, has 7.23 percent, Soultan Ariq Rachman has 2.74 percent, and COO Danantara/Head of BP BUMN Dony Oskaria has 2.74 percent.

Then, Susanto Hartono owns 1.14 percent of RANS shares, Nagita Slavina Mariana Tengker owns 0.99 percent, and the youngest son of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, Kaesang Pangarep, owns 0.91 percent.

Furthermore, Hikmat Janika has 0.68 percent of shares, PT Ekonomi Baru Investasi Teknologi at 0.61 percent. Meanwhile, after officially carrying out the IPO, public ownership reached 20.02 percent.

PT RANS Entertainment Indonesia Tbk (RANS) officially carried out the initial listing of shares or Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the Indonesian capital market.

On the first day of trading, RANS shares immediately broke through the Auto Reject Top (ARA), with an increase of 34.12 percent or 58 points to the position of Rp228 per share from the offer price of Rp170 per share. When the price reaches the ARA level, the exchange system automatically rejects the buy and sell order queue.

In the IPO, RANS offered 2,525,000,000 new shares or 20.02 percent of the paid-up and fully paid-up capital, at an offer price of IDR 170 per share, raising funds of IDR 429.25 billion.
