Tegal Police Member Aiptu N Persecuted Woman Fired

SEMARANG - A member of the Tegal City Police, Aiptu N, was sentenced to dismissal without honor for allegedly abusing a woman.

"It is proven to be legally and convincingly in violation of the code of ethics of the police profession in the period 2023 to 2026," said the Chief Judge of the Code of Ethics for the Police Profession of the Central Java Police AKBP Edi Wibowo in a trial in Semarang, Friday, July 10.

Two violations that were proven in the violation were having an affair with a woman with the initials MAN who was a victim of the trial.

In addition, it was also proven to use drugs of the type of crystal methamphetamine.

The judge also said that the suspect's actions were done consciously and had implications for the decline in the police's image.

Two violations of ethics and discipline committed by the suspect previously were also considered in imposing a sentence.

In response to the verdict, the judge gave the defendant the opportunity to appeal if he did not accept the verdict of the National Police Code of Ethics Commission.

Aiptu N was reported by a woman with the initials MAN, a resident of Cirebon, West Java, to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police for alleged persecution.

Based on the report, the alleged persecution occurred since 2023 and was triggered by a dispute between the victim and the accused.

Currently, Aiptu N has been detained at the Central Java Police Detention House to undergo criminal and ethical examinations.
