Dharma Jaya Holds 816 Beef Bazaar Tour, Pursuing Target 1,416 Points until the End of 2026
JAKARTA - Perumda Dharma Jaya is expanding food distribution through a mobile meat bazaar service in Jakarta. Until mid-2026, the DKI Provincial Government's food BUMD has recorded 816 bazaar points as an effort to bring access to animal protein closer while maintaining price stability at the community level.
President Director of Perumda Dharma Jaya Raditya Endra Budiman said that the realization was the result of regular scheduling carried out through food truck services in various residential areas. The company is now targeting 1,416 bazaar points by the end of the year.
"Our main goal is to ensure that the distribution of animal protein can be accessed directly by the community. With 816 points already running, we are optimistic that the target of 1,416 points by the end of this year can be achieved," said Raditya in his statement, Friday, July 10.
To expand the distribution range, Dharma Jaya also added a refrigerated vehicle fleet from two units to four units. The addition of the fleet was carried out so that product supplies were maintained during the distribution process to the bazaar location.
"This additional fleet is our investment to ensure that product quality is maintained when it reaches consumers, as well as so that we can be more responsive to citizen demand," he said.
The mobile bazaar service is also used to bring meat sales closer to residential areas so that people do not have to come to the market. In addition to maintaining affordability, the program is part of the food BUMD's efforts to help control food inflation in Jakarta.
Siti Aminah (42), a resident of Klender Village, admitted that he routinely used the Dharma Jaya mobile bazaar because the location was close to his residence and offered more affordable prices.
"It's quite helpful, especially since the price of meat here can be cheaper than the market price. It just so happens that the location is very close to my house, so I don't have to go far to the market," he said.
The same thing was conveyed by Budi Santoso (35), a resident of Kramat Jati Village. According to him, information about the regular bazaar schedule is conveyed through the village so that it is easier for residents who want to buy meat.
"The schedule is always informed through announcements from the village. Because the car comes directly here, I am more practical when I want to buy weekly meat stock without having to bother on the road," he said.
Dharma Jaya stated that it would continue to expand the reach of the bazaar until the end of the year in line with the target of adding distribution points in various regions of Jakarta. In addition to through the traveling bazaar, product price information is also periodically updated through the company's official social media accounts.
