Rp4.3 Trillion in Losses, Heni Sagara's Blood Buzzer Accuser is Only Charged 2 Years in Prison

BANDUNG - National cosmetics entrepreneur, Heni Sagara, was unable to hide his disappointment after hearing the prosecutor's demands for the two buzzer defendants, Feri and Restu. The reason is that the two perpetrators who are suspected of carrying out a structured black campaign (black campaign) are only charged with a 2-year prison sentence.

Heni assessed that the demand was very disproportionate to the impact of the business destruction he experienced. The case that dragged the violation of the ITE Law is suspected of using a robotic system (bot) and pond farming to drive negative opinions to become trending topics.

"The efforts that I have built with knowledge, competence, and hard work for 20 years were destroyed instantly through a heinous slander. My face was turned into an animal, our products were slandered as dangerous even though BPOM had testified that our products were safe," said Heni Sagara in his statement quoted by VOI, Thursday, July 9.

According to Heni, the light sentence for the buzzers could set a bad precedent for the business climate in Indonesia. He is worried that the profession of slanderous buzzers will be considered a new job field with minimal legal risks.

"If the buzzer sentence is only 2 years, this will be a bad example and a new job field for criminal perpetrators to destroy business competitors. There are thousands of my employees whose lives depend on this company," said Heni.

Heni's disappointment is not without reason. His legal team presented shocking data related to the material losses suffered by the company due to the slander attack. The numbers are not trivial, reaching trillions of rupiah.

Yunus Adi Prabowo as a lawyer revealed that the calculation of temporary losses touched the figure of IDR 4.3 trillion. This was triggered by the unilateral cancellation of large-scale purchase orders and a drastic decrease in sales.

"As of today, the losses that have been calculated are IDR 4.3 trillion. This loss is not only about reputation, but on behalf of the family, then the company also experienced a decrease in sales," said Yunus Adi Prabowo.

Not only about the material, Yunus also highlighted the psychological condition of his client who was very traumatized. The massive attack on social media had an impact on psychological trauma and shame in front of the public.

"Not to mention our client who became sick, mentally sick, yes, Madam? Sad, ashamed in the eyes of the public and everywhere. This is an intangible loss that is difficult to measure," continued Yunus.

Heni Sagara also ensured that his legal steps would not stop at these two defendants. He is determined to uncover who is the brain behind the buzzer movement.

"This is not the end. I will chase the buzzer bosses, intellectual actors who prepare slanderous material and fund this movement until whenever!" exclaimed Heni Sagara.

Closing the trial, Heni's husband, Iwa Sagara, put great hope on the panel of judges to give a heavier sentence than the prosecutor's demand for justice for his family.

"We hope the judge will use his conscience to decide on a verdict that is as fair as possible for us," concluded Iwa Sagara.
