Flower Arrangement in Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya

JAKARTA - A row of bouquets containing support for the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Polri) lined up in front of the entrance to the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) of the Metro Jaya Police, Jakarta, Friday.

Based on Antara's monitoring at the location, at least three bouquets containing messages of support for the Polri institution were installed in front of the building.

The writing on the three wreaths, among others, reads "Bravo Polri. Rakyat Bersama Polri", "Don't Back Down. Rakyat Bersama Polri", and "President Prabowo with Polri".

The appearance of the wreath is related to the investigation process being carried out by the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya together with the National Police's Anti-Corruption Crime Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) against a number of cases of alleged corruption crimes.

One of the cases being investigated is the alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU) in the procurement of coal for a number of steam power plants (PLTU) in the period 2018-2026, which is suspected of causing power outages (blackouts) in a number of regions.

In addition, investigators are also handling the case of alleged corruption at PT Asabri in the 2020-2025 period as well as alleged corruption in the process of settling PT CBS's debt to PT KNI in the 2020-2022 period.

Previously, the National Police's Corruption and Crime Investigation Unit together with the Metro Jaya Police's Crime Investigation Unit searched 13 locations in the Jakarta and Bogor areas.

The search was part of a series of investigations related to three cases that are currently in the process of being handled.
