West Java Kadin Meeting Reveals that the Chairman of the Kadin was Not Recognized by Almer Faiq
JAKARTA - The dispute between the West Java Chamber of Commerce has heated up again at the South Jakarta District Court. In the next hearing, the lawyer for one of the defendants said that the Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce version of Muprov Bogor, Almer Faiq Rusyidi, had never acknowledged Anindya Bakrie's leadership in the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce.
The statement was made by the defendant's lawyer, Agung Suryamal, Arif Suhendar, after the continuation of the lawsuit by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, July 9, 2026.
According to Arif, the statement was included in the defendant's answer before the panel of judges headed by Eman Sulaiman.
"Our client said that Mr. Almer had said that he did not recognize Anindya Bakrie's leadership. That is one of the proofs we presented in the trial," said Arif.
Arif is also the lawyer for another defendant, Zulkifli M Adam. He said Zulkifli, who is claimed to be the chairman of the Muprov Kadin West Java committee, was never involved in the implementation of the Muprov VIII Kadin West Java in Bogor.
According to Arif, Zulkifli never signed any invitation letter related to the Muprov Bogor. As the chairman of the committee or organizing committee based on SK 003, Zulkifli was also said to have never been involved in meetings until the implementation of the Muprov.
Arif said Zulkifli did not attend the Bogor Muprov because he never received an official letter or copy of the revocation of Agung Suryamal's mandate as caretaker of the West Java Chamber of Commerce.
On this basis, his party assessed that Muprov Bogor was legally flawed and deviated from the AD/ART of the Chamber of Commerce.
Meanwhile, the lawyer for the plaintiff, Roy Sianipar, said his party would present four witnesses at the hearing next week. The witness is said to know the implementation of the Bogor Muprov which was questioned by the plaintiff.
In addition to the fact witnesses, Roy also plans to present expert witnesses.
In the previous hearing, Roy submitted 44 pieces of evidence of alleged violations in the implementation of the Muprov Kadin West Java in Bogor. The evidence is said to number around 500 sheets and is compiled in several maps.
According to Roy, the evidence was submitted so that the panel of judges could see that Muprov Bogor was full of violations.
This lawsuit was filed by the Chairman of the Garut Regency Kadinda Rajab Priljadi and the Chairman of the Indramayu Regency Kadinda Mulyadi Cahya. They questioned Muprov Bogor which produced Almer Faiq Rusyidi as the Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce because it was considered legally flawed.
This dispute started from two Muprov VIII Kadin West Java which were held on September 24, 2025. One took place in Bogor and another in Bandung.
In the Muprov Bandung, Nizar Sungkar was elected as the General Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce. Roy assessed that Nizar was elected legally according to the organization's AD/ART.
"Nizar was elected legally according to the AD/ART of the organization," said Roy.
On the other hand, Roy said that Muprov Bogor, which produced Almer Faiq Rusyidi, did not comply with the organization's rules.
"It is not in accordance with the AD/ART of the Chamber of Commerce," he said.
Roy also highlighted the steps of the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya Bakrie who appointed Almer in Cirebon on November 27, 2025. According to him, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry previously promised a meeting between Almer and Nizar to end the dualism of the West Java Chamber of Commerce.
"In fact, previously the central Kadin promised to bring Almer and Nizar together to end the dilemma of the West Java Kadin dualism," said Roy.
The lawsuit was registered with the number 1356/Pdt.G/2025/PN JKT.SEL. The defendants include the General Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Anindya Bakrie, Deputy Chairman of the Organization Taufan Eko Nugroho, Deputy Chairman Widiyanto Daputro, and Deputy Chairman Erwin Aksa.
