However, there is no need to worry, because food noise can be overcome. Here are some ways to overcome it, which can help reduce thoughts about food in your head.

1. Eat regularly

Having a regular meal schedule can actually help reduce the intensity of food noise. When eating is irregular, then without realizing it we create a situation where our minds will focus on food which can then become food noise.

2. Do mindful eating

Mindful eating is eating with full awareness, where you focus on the aroma, texture, and taste in each bite without other distractions. By doing mindful eating, then you can overcome food noise, because we are fully focused on the food in front of us at that time.

3. Manage sleep time well

Adequate and quality sleep also has an effect in preventing food noise. This is because lack of sleep makes food noise appear because of the instability of hormones that regulate the feeling of hunger experienced by the body.

4. Exercise routine

Another way to overcome food noise is to exercise regularly. With regular exercise, the body's metabolism will be more helpful, and also help in maintaining body weight.
