Kuwait Hit by Iranian Missile, One Injured
JAKARTA - One person was injured in Kuwait due to the debris of the Iranian missile and drone attack that was intercepted by the Arab Gulf country.
Iran launched three ballistic missiles, one cruise missile, and 10 drones towards Kuwait - all of which were "successfully intercepted" - according to a Kuwaiti military statement. The interception process caused material damage.
In neighboring Bahrain, the military said its air defense systems intercepted Iranian missile and drone attacks this morning, without giving further details.
Previously, the Iranian Ministry of Health stated that 14 people were killed and 78 others were injured as a result of the US attacks in the last two days.
A series of recent US strikes hit more than 90 targets across Iran - according to US Central Command (CENTCOM). Iranian media reported explosions and attacks in southern coastal cities and the northern province of Golestan bordering the Caspian Sea.
