Trump Claims US Has Many Ways to Win from Iran

JAKARTA - US President Donald Trump admitted that he could not confirm whether the situation involving Iran would heat up again to become a full-scale military conflict. But Trump stressed that the US has many ways to win if that happens.

Trump, when asked by a reporter on Wednesday (8/7) local time, about the possibility of further escalation leading to a full-scale military conflict, replied; "I don't know. We won very quickly. This is another way to do it. We have many ways to win, but we have already won militarily."

Early Wednesday, US forces launched a series of devastating attacks on Iran.

Iranian forces then reported that they had carried out retaliatory attacks against a number of US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait.

Iranian authorities accuse the US of violating a memorandum of understanding on cessation of hostilities.

As reported by ANTARA from Sputnik, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) on Thursday, July 9, stated that US forces had attacked around 90 targets in Iran.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had retaliated against the US attack by attacking two US bases in Kuwait and two bases in Bahrain.
