iPhone 18 Pro Max Ready to Break Battery Life Record

JAKARTA - Apple is reportedly preparing a major improvement in the battery life of the iPhone 18 Pro Max. The latest rumors say that the next generation flagship has the potential to come with a much larger battery capacity than its predecessor, opening up opportunities for iPhones with the best battery life Apple has ever made.

The information comes from the Digital Chat Station technology leaker on the Weibo platform. Although his track record is quite diverse, this leak is interesting because it refers to data that is said to come from a regulator document in China.

If the information is correct, then the United States version of the iPhone 18 Pro Max will carry a battery with a capacity of 5,391 mAh, while the Chinese version is said to reach 5,567 mAh.

This figure is much higher than the iPhone 17 Pro Max which currently uses a battery of around 4,823 mAh for the US model and 5,088 mAh on the Chinese variant.

With that capacity, the iPhone 18 Pro Max battery increase is estimated to reach almost 10 percent compared to the previous generation.
