High Enthusiasm to Win MURI Award, TP PKK DKI Jakarta Successfully Held Mass Circumcision

JAKARTA - TPPKK and PAM JAYA officially ended the series of Free Mass Circumcision 2026 activities held in commemoration of the 499th Anniversary of DKI Jakarta.

The closing event, which took place at the DKI Jakarta City Hall, was attended by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) Movement Team, Hani Pramono Anung, the Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta Women's Organization Cooperation Agency (BKOW), Dewi Rano Karno, the Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta Dharma Wanita, Lisniawati, the President Director of PAM JAYA, Arief Nasrudin, the Chairperson of the PAM JAYA Women's Power, Lya Arief and other members and participants.

The free mass circumcision program was initiated by PAM JAYA CSR through PAM JAYA Women's Power in collaboration with the DKI Jakarta PKK Movement Team and involving the Jakarta Kebaya Community (KKJ) as a form of social concern to help the community while improving the health of Jakarta children.

The 4th mass circumcision with PAM JAYA was carried out from June 23 to July 8, 2026 and reached all areas of DKI Jakarta, namely East Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, North Jakarta, Thousand Islands and Central Jakarta. From a target of 2,000 children aged 5 to 12 years, this program received a good response from the community with a total of 2,445 participants.

Based on its implementation in each region, the number of participants was recorded as 296 participants in East Jakarta, 488 participants in West Jakarta, 577 participants in South Jakarta, 399 participants in North Jakarta, 43 participants in Thousand Islands, and 264 participants in Central Jakarta.

PAM JAYA President Director, Arief Nasrudin, said this activity is part of the company's commitment to continue to be present and provide benefits to the community, not only through piped drinking water services, but also through social programs that have a direct impact on the community.

"We are grateful that this program has received an overwhelming response from the community. With this collaboration, we hope that mass circumcision can help the community while providing health benefits for Jakarta children. This is part of the spirit of PAM JAYA to continue to grow and serve together with Jakarta residents," said Arief.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta TP PKK together with PAM JAYA received an award from the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) for the 'Circumcision with the Clamp Method in the Most Participants Series' category with a total of 2,067 children. This achievement surpassed the record previously achieved by PAM JAYA in 2025 with a total of 1,293 children.

The award is a form of appreciation for PAM JAYA's commitment and consistency in presenting social programs that reach a wide range of people. More than just a record achievement, this activity is expected to be a tangible manifestation of the spirit of collaboration and social concern in supporting children's health as the next generation of Jakarta.
