AHM Gives a Refresh to the Rebel 1100 for Rp445 Million, What's New?

JAKARTA - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) gives a refresh to the big bike line New Rebel 1100. The update on this big bike is considered minor, namely with the addition of a new Matte Beta Silver Metallic color option.

The silver wrap with a metallic nuance gives a more premium look while emphasizing the character of this urban cruiser-style motorcycle for riders who want to express their lifestyle.

The New Rebel 1100 still retains the iconic design that can be easily personalized according to the owner's taste. The presence of Matte Beta Silver Metallic color further strengthens the identity of this model as a driving partner that represents the user's character.

Meanwhile, the Matte Ballistic Black Metallic color option is still available for consumers who want a more assertive and character appearance. AHM Marketing Director, Octavianus Dwi, said that the color refresh is part of the company's commitment to providing options that match the needs and lifestyles of Honda big bike lovers in Indonesia.

"New Rebel 1100 comes as a driving partner that represents the character and lifestyle of its users. Through the new Matte Beta Silver Metallic color option, we want to present a more premium and expressive look that gives more pride to riders while enjoying every journey," said Octavianus, quoted from the official statement, Wednesday, July 8.

In terms of performance, the Honda Rebel 1100 carries a 1,084 cc four-stroke SOHC two-cylinder parallel twin liquid-cooled engine. The heart of the drive is capable of producing up to 65 kW at 7,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 98 Nm at 4,750 rpm.

The engine with a bore x stroke of 92 mm x 81.5 mm and a compression ratio of 10.5:1 is claimed to offer a strong power character at low to medium revs. To support driving comfort, especially when touring, the New Rebel 1100 is equipped with various modern features.

Starting from cruise control, the Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) system which presents a smoother gear shift, Throttle by Wire, and a choice of riding modes that can be adjusted to the rider's needs. This motorcycle also carries wide-profile tires with a sleek bobber silhouette, combined with a wide handlebar to provide a comfortable driving position.

The lighting system already uses the All LED Lighting System, while the front suspension gets a touch of dark navy titanium oxide color which further strengthens the premium impression. In the technology sector, the New Rebel 1100 is equipped with a 5-inch TFT instrument panel that has been integrated with Honda RoadSync.

The screen displays various information, ranging from riding modes, engine revolutions, transmission position, speed, air temperature, cruise control status, DCT characteristics, to connectivity with the rider's device. In addition, there is also a USB charger placed under the seat to support the needs during the trip.

Honda New Rebel 1100 is marketed in two color choices, namely Matte Beta Silver Metallic and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic. Both are priced at Rp445.250.000 and are marketed exclusively through 11 Honda Big Wing networks spread across nine cities in Indonesia.
