Iran to Respond to US Attack, Kuwait on Alert, Sirens Sound in Bahrain

Sirine sounded in Bahrain. Residents are urged to "stay calm and head to the nearest safe place.

The warning comes after Iran said it would give a "devastating response" to the recent US attacks.

Bahrain is home to the US Navy's Fifth Fleet, which is tasked with patrolling the Persian Gulf, Red Sea and Arabian Sea.

Iran has repeatedly attacked US military bases in various parts of the Middle East, including in Bahrain, during the war.

Meanwhile, Kuwait's air defense reportedly responded to "hostile missile and drone threats," the country's military said on the X platform, while urging people to comply with safety instructions.

Military officials said the sound of the explosions may have been heard as the air defense system intercepted the attacks.

Iran has previously targeted a number of US military locations in Kuwait, including Ali Al Salem Air Base, Camp Arifjan, and Camp Buehring.
